Marketing Coordinator, Expert Services

Supports the Marketing group in the development, execution and communication of ongoing marketing, advertising and promotional programs, campaign tracking and analysis, competitive tracking and event support. The Marketing Coordinator also works with other VSE departments including Creative Services, Brand Marketing, Media and Service Operations to develop creative and tactical materials for marketing programs and promotions, and customer communication as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop creative briefs for promotional programs that provide Brand Marketing, Creative Services and other departments as needed with relevant information required to fully and accurately develop supporting materials and communications on time
- Execute a wide variety of details that involve direct marketing, email campaigns, customer communications, promotions and other marketing plans targeted to our existing customer base
- With Retention and Brand Management teams, create an annual promotions calendar for each service/brand. Working with the annual promotional program calendar, create, coordinate and adhere to project schedules that deliver required materials, communications, forecasts, etc. to affected departments and individuals on time
- Participate in and maintain competitive and consumer tracking to establish and build knowledge base of our services/brands, including the development and deployment of surveys
- Assist Media Buyer with tasks and coordination for all media programs, including PPC and SEO, such as landing pages, campaign creation in the marketing management system, tracking and program performance and accounting reconciliation
- Develop and maintain messaging database for each service, including recording of service promotional and information messages for the IVR
- Track promotional campaigns and prepare performance analysis to provide recommendations to Retention Marketing Manager for refinement and/or new programs that continue to engage customer base
- Create all email campaigns in Lyris and Constant Contact for all services Work directly with Creative Services team to ensure new images, design templates and copy are available for each campaign. Route email creative for approval, finalize changes, schedule emails for deployment and send Customer Service and supporting areas of the business an email communicating the promotion planned with audience and key content information
- Assist with the development and preparation of the quarterly newsletters for each service including creative brief and coordination of content from customers and Advisors
- Coordinate sending new members gifts to drive retention. Work with Retention Marketing Manager to identify the audience that will allow for analysis of the sales/retention impact this new initiative drives
- Be the liaison to the call centers. Organize workable schedule to share plans/offers/strategy with call center teams and other functional areas to prepare business for upcoming campaigns. Create communication process for any question/concern that arises
- Coordinate agendas and notes from weekly and ongoing Marketing team meetings to ensure that team members are aware of meeting objectives and action items
- Some copywriting for marketing materials, blogs and other customer communications to assist Content and Community Manager
- Assist Marketing with other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in direct response and/or direct marketing
- Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good project management skills with ability to multi-task & the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Flexible self starter with analytical skills
- Strong work ethic, energetic, and a great attitude. You must be passionate about your work, our customers and have a strong drive to succeed
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Internet savvy
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred
