Marketing Manager, Customer Retention and Analysis

Play a lead role in developing and executing strategy for targeted direct marketing campaigns to existing member base and manage retention for the psychic and astrology service categories. Assess and analyze customer activity to ensure that marketing programs increase member sales and retention to achieve stated marketing goals. Manage and traffic all marketing materials to ensure consistent presentation with stated brand guidelines. The Marketing Manager in this role will have an extensive knowledge of key retention marketing channels including email, US mail, online and social media outlets.Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Retention Programs
- Develop, coordinate and implement direct marketing activities
- Manage customer communications across marketing channels and touch-points including email, US mail, website and product messaging
- Create and deliver reporting on an ongoing basis that analyze key metrics in order to discover changes necessary to increase overall success of retention marketing efforts and campaigns
- Evaluate member spending & service utilization profiles to identify trends and opportunities within the customer base
- Recommend segmentation and offer testing to evaluate list performance.
- Develop, recommend and implement marketing and promotional strategies that:
- Increase our engagement with customers
- Increase member retention
- Increase the monthly unique customers using our services
- Increase the size of our subscriber base
- Develop additional marketing programs that will help the products increase sales and members
- Perform data hygiene, database analysis and marketing research
- Develop and manage new member outreach program to improve new member retention
- Develop, implement and manage e-mail programs that stimulate re-purchase, engage members and enhance service experience

List Management
- Maintain control over customer lists and the integrity of the data for direct marketing campaigns.
- Generate customer marketing lists based on defined criteria.
- Develop and manage reporting that provides the necessary data for informed marketing and promotional decisions
- Serve as the subject matter expert for laws and regulations related to direct marketing; CAN SPAM, Do Not Mail/Do Not Call, etc.

Production and Traffic
- Work with the Creative Services, Marketing and other internal departments on the design and development of retention programs and materials to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Manage the shipping and delivery of materials to third-party external partners; i.e., mail house, post office, event venues, etc.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in a direct marketing or retention marketing function within a service-based industry. Experience with technology-oriented products; particularly in a web and/or telephony environment.- Specific experience developing analysis that provides insight into business performance, and the ability to present the analysis, including business recommendations, in a concise, actionable format to all levels within an organization
- Extensive knowledge and experience with broad email marketing applications and programs.
- Strong project management and self-management skills to operate productively and flexibly producing high-quality, on-time deliverables
- Must be available to periodically work after hours and weekends.
- Must have orientation to detail, excellent organizational ability.
