Department: Operations
Reports To: Call Center Manager

Summary:

Professionally and courteously handle inbound sales and customer service calls. Convert callers into customers and insure the retention of members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build lasting customer relationships.
  • Take calls from potential customers.
  • Sell VSE's services.
  • Enter member data and process sales.

Account maintenance:

  • Clear debts, memo accounts, analyze to determine resolution of issues, detect fraud.
  • Customer issues: research/investigate all customer issues, serve all customer needs, issue trouble tickets, send emails regarding customer issues for Call Center Management.
  • Report technology issues.
  • Report problems with Experts/Entertainers.
  • Project a professional demeanor to all callers in accordance with the ethics and philosophy of VSE.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

As assigned by Call Center Manager.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training. Equivalent experience may apply.
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and a great attitude.
  • Good project management skills with ability to multi-task & the ability to exercise independent judgment.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems, Database, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Email, and Internet software.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
